Are your eyes the widow to your soul?
It’s been said that the eyes are the widow into our souls. We
look into someone eyes to see if they are happy or sad. Are they trust worthy
or not? Are your eyes a reflection of how you truly feel?
Often a patient will complain of looking tired but confess
that they are not tired. They complain of lower lid bags and hooding of the
upper lids. They attribute these changes to allergies or a heavy work schedule.
While it is true that lack of sleep or a bad diet can contribute to how we look
and feel, sometimes the aging process can exaggerate these changes around the
eyes.
How many of our friends are starting to look like their
parents. Many family traits are transferred from parent to child. These undesirable
traits can be corrected with Plastic Surgery.
Eyelid surgery is an outpatient procedure. Usually the
patient is sedated by an anesthesiologist to avoid discomfort and to keep the
patient still. The procedure is an hour
or two long and recovery is usually one to two weeks. As will any surgery there
are risks associated with blepharoplasty. Every patient is different and a consultation
is the best place to learn about the procedure, risks, and recovery.
Dr. Rosato has been in practice on the Treasure Coast since
1992. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. His
center is licensed by the state of Florida as an Ambulatory Surgery Center. Consultations
can be made by calling 772-562-5859.
